Modesto Mayorga Obituary

Modesto “Big Moe” Mayorga, 80, of Weimar, Texas passed away on November 13, 2021. Moe was born on January 12, 1941.

Moe was preceded in death by his father, Pedro Mayorga, his mother, Grace Perales and his brother, Andrew Mayorga.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Consuelo Mayorga; his children, Theresa and Johnny Curtis of Weimar, and Joe Mayorga of Weimar; his grandchildren, Heather Krischke of Victoria, Luke and Kacie Krischke of Temple, Lexxus and Daniel Zika of Fayetteville, Lana Mayorga of Fayetteville, and Noah Mayorga of Bellville; his great-grandchildren, Genevieve Zika and Ella Krischke; his brothers, Daniel Mayorga of Lubbock, Marcus Mayorga of Lubbock, Edward Mayorga of Lubbock, Dino Mayorga of Lubbock; his sisters, Mary Mayorga of Lubbock, Cecelia Velaques of Houston and Guadalupe Mayorga of Houston.

Moe was a retired truck driver after many years of service. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and friends. He loved to tell stories from his childhood as well as his stories from working. He remembered it as if it happened yesterday. Moe also enjoyed traveling throughout the years.

A Rosary will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Hubbard Funeral Home.
