Katherine Klesel Obituary

Katherine “Katie” Janecka Klesel, 40, of Weimar, Texas passed away on September 9, 2021. She was born on December 8, 1980, in Houston, Texas to Edward Frank and Marjorie Rose Janecka.

Katie is survived by her husband, David James Klesel of Weimar; her daughter, Anastasia Rose Klesel of Weimar; her sons, Zackary James Klesel and William Charles Klesel, both of Weimar; her parents, Edward and Marjorie Janecka of Dubina; her brothers, Joseph Janecka and his wife, Casandra of Dubina, Charlie Janecka of Houston, and John Janecka and his wife, Alexis of Denver; her sister, Elizabeth Prichard-Jones and her husband Eric of Ammannsville; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Katie will be on Monday, September 13, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, with a rosary to take place at 7:00pm at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Weimar. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 14, at 10:00am with visitation from 9:00am to 10:00am at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Weimar.

Pallbearers will be Gregory Janecka, Robert Janecka, Tommy Muras, Sam Muras, Nicholas Lauck, Bobby Lauck, Jonathan McKee, James Wick.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Michael’s Catholic School or to the GoFundMe account that has been set up for Katie’s children’s education.
