Donald Osborne Obituary

Donald Lee Osborne, 64 of Weimar, TX passed away peacefully on March 21, 2022. The
oldest of three children, Donald was born to DL and Dorothy Osborne on November 29,
1957. He was born in Bryan Texas and was raised in Bartlesville Oklahoma and graduated
from Caney Valley High School. He went to college at Oklahoma State University in
Stillwater, Oklahoma. He worked for Owens Country Sausage in Richardson Texas for 28
years and most recently at J Bar B Foods for the last 7 years. He grew up on a ranch in
Oklahoma. At the age of 12, he picked up hunting and fishing which remained a constant
hobby throughout his life. He played baseball and football throughout High School and
enjoyed watching all sports, especially the Cowboys. Don met Candy at Owens and they
were married in Dallas, TX on November 20, 2003. They made their home in both Sulphur
Springs, TX and later on in Weimar, TX.
He enjoyed competing in fishing tournaments in Lake Fork and watching rodeos. His wife
and family were always at the center of his life. Most would know him to be very dedicated
to his career.
He enjoyed Thanksgiving and Christmas and often spent them with his closest family.
Family and guests enjoyed grilling food, shooting guns, bonfires at night, and cold Bud
Light. Luke, his dog, was always by his side.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Mae Osborne.
Don is survived by:
His father, DL Osborne of Ardmore Oklahoma
His wife, Candy Osborne, her son Miguel Bahena and grandson Jayden, and her
daughter Nancy Pizzulo, husband Aaron Macik, and grandson Dominic.
His daughter Shara Cowart of Plano Texas, her husband Thomas Cowart, and their
four children Shayla, Riley, Shania, and Jadin.
His sister Debi Brewster and her husband Kirk Brewster, nephew Cole and his wife
Heather, and their children Kylee, Kimber, and Kinsley.
His sister Dana Cowger and husband Mike Cowger, nephew Landon and his wife
Chrissi and their children Sophie and Ainsley, and his niece Katlin and fiance Tyler
and children Journee and daughter Nova.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 10 AM to 1:30 PM at Hubbard Funeral Chapel in
Weimar, Texas.
Burial will be at 2 PM at Weimar Masonic Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mike, Thomas, Miguel, Jason, Kirk, Mark
Services are entrusted to Hubbard Funeral Home in Weimar, Texas
