Albert A. "Cuz" Otto, 84, of Weimar, Texas, went to rest on June 28, 2024 at Parkview Manor. He was born August 27, 1939 to Adolf and Adela Otto in New Bielau, Texas.
He lived most of his life in the New Bielau area, and went to school there before going to Weimar I.S.D. Albert was a farmer and rancher, worked in several meat markets, and was a state meat inspector at one time in his career. Albert, also, served his country in the United States Army for 2 years when he was a young man. Albert enjoyed visiting the local cafes and "Drive-ins" to visit with his friends or anybody that liked to talk. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman, and it was fairly common to see him anticipating opening day for deer season. He, also, enjoyed having coffee with his buddies, a cold beer, and maybe a hot game of dominoes.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Allen Otto. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Kaye Otto, a nephew and niece, and several cousins and friends.
Burial for Albert will be in Masonic Cemetery, and will be private for the family. A visitation and prayer service will be held at Hubbard Funeral Home in Weimar, Texas.
